Yes! For me, going sockless turns a loafer (or sneaker or boot) from a piece of attractive footwear into an erotic sex-charged object. But not all guys going sockless in all loafers will do it for me. I love a masculine dude, businessman, preppy, or athletic type, with some hair on those legs, and wearing what I consider "classic" American loafers such as Weejuns, Aldens, Brooks Brothers, Sebagos, etc, in penny, tassel, beefroll, kiltie styles. Jeans, shorts, slacks all work for me. I have read fashion writers refer to my preferred look in various ways from just "Preppy" to "East Coast Academic" to "American Business Casual" or "American Collegiate".
Only if the loafers are being worn with shorts, not pants. I'm not big on sockless loafers and pants.
ReplyDeleteyes, I love the sight of a bare ankle!
ReplyDeleteYes they are hot. I just think of it as one layer gone.Sock Hawk
ReplyDeleteDoesn't really do it for me. I'm definitely a sock guy through and through. TZ4589
ReplyDeleteGreat look with slacks or jeans, not so much with shorts.
ReplyDeleteNo socks are good with slacks and jeans.
ReplyDeleteI don't prefer the sockless look!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely with socks!!!
Sockless doesn't work for me, either. 100% sock guy here!
ReplyDeleteI adore it. It shows a laissez faire attitude and excudes confidence. Especially when a guy wears nice slacks and dress shoes without sox. Sweet.....
