ReplyDeleteI think there are a couple of levels of significance. First of all, it's the exposure of a body part that's normally covered. Unlike women, for whom shoeplay is considered somewhat of a norm, men in general are much more reluctant to slip their shoes off in public (possibly because of the feminine association). So seeing a man who's bold enough to openly play with his shoes makes him that much hotter to guys like us.
Another is the imagery of seeing the foot slipping in and out of the shoe -- it's almost like watching him having sex with his shoe, with his foot taking the place of the penis. And since we all know the sensual feeling of slipping our own shoes on and off, we can relate to what he's feeling as we watch him. Our attraction to/desire for his shoes makes us wish we were the ones playing with his shoes. I think that's the reason the sight of a guy playing with his shoes always gets me playing with my shoes, too. And I've played with my shoes in front of other guys wearing hot shoes, hoping that they'll get the idea and start playing with theirs, too (although it doesn't often work, unfortunately!)
Regardless of the deeper meaning, seeing a guy play with his shoes always makes my day!
