I Love New York (Loafers)

Maybe I’m biased because I grew up there, but I just love New York men. Take a walk down the streets of Manhattan and you’ll see so many different types men and so many different types of style. Coming from the worlds of finance, media, advertising, fashion and the arts, sexy, well-dressed men in loafers are everywhere.

My obsession with loafers was born there in the 80s when I was turned on to preppy Weejuns, sexy Italian low vamps and, of course, the timeless Alden tassels and full straps. This was the era of my sexual awakening and, when I look back, I realize that many of the men I had encounters with back then wore one of these styles. Did the guys I was attracted to just happen to be wearing loafers, or was I drawn to them because of it?

Whatever the case, the men of New York played a major role in awakening my loafer lust and providing me with some hot memories.

And, as these photos show, NYC men are still fueling the fantasies of loafer lovers, young and old.
